What is your vision?

This is a fantastic time of year, being at the half way point, to take an inventory of where we are and to see if we’re on track to accomplish the goals that we had set out to.  After taking this inventory, you can identify where your gaps are and with the right models and systems along with a positive culture and environment, you can get yourself on track to accomplishing what you truly want.

Power Hour and Scripts and Dialogues

Lead Generation is the lifeblood of our businesses.  Without it, we simply won’t survive.  If we can create positive habits around the are of effective lead generation, we can experience a thriving real estate practice and re-gain control of our lives.  At Keller Williams Realty East Valley, we have a time each morning where our agents come together and practice their scripts and then launch into 2 solid hours of lead generation that we refer to as Power Hour from 9-11.  The agents who consistently participate in Power Hour experience dramatic increases in sales.  Join us each morning and experience the results for yourself!

Big Rocks – Do Less and Succeed More

Most goals worth having don’t sit right around the corner. Really Big Goals require focused effort over weeks, months, and sometimes years. I’m always asking myself the focusing question: “What is the one thing I should be doing such that everything else would be easier or even unnecessary?” It’s about always identifying my top priority because when you really identify your #1, everything else becomes a distraction. Finding that resolve is one thing; keeping it is challenge. Life happens. It happens every day. Hopefully, this video, Big Rocks, will serve as fun reminder to stay focused on what matters.

Vision Speech 2010 – Enough Transactions to Make 2010 the BEST Year Ever!

Gary Keller just wrapped up his 2010 Vision Speech, which most simply put, was an incredible reminder that NO MATTER the market, your success is defined by your actions. As Gary put it, if only 200 transactions closed in your area last year, and all 200 of them were yours…would the state of the market bother you?

Here are a few of our big takeaways about why now is a great time to be in real estate for agents who are committed to making the most of the opportunity:

  • US Mortgage rates averaged 5.04% in 2009, an all-time low since Freddie Mac started tracking in 1971.
  • 2009 affodability = most favorable in US on record
  • Sales activity level in 2009 was 4th highest in US on record.
  • In Canada, available sides per agent increased to 9.5 transactions.
  • In Canada, home sales increased by 7.7%
  • 69% of first-time homebuyers cited “Desire to own a home” as the primary reason for purchasing in 2009.  Only 6% cited the first-time home buyer tax credit.
  • 90% of buyers used the Internet as information source during home search process (As Gary put  it – “There are no longer Internet buyers.  ALL buyers are Internet buyers.”)
  • 66% of home buyers interviewed only ONE agent.
  • 66% of buyers would use their agent again.

As you know, at Keller Williams Realty East Valley, we’re about creating careers worth having, businesses worth owning, and lives worth living.  As part of the “lives worth living”, a group of leaders within our market center have created the KWEV Body For Life Challenge.  This last July, we had 67 of our associates sign up to participate and many of our team members created amazing results.

As a result, we have launched another round to start off the New Year and to support each and every one of you in accomplishing your 2010 goals.  This time around, we are opening up the challenge to anyone who wants to participate, regardless of whether they are a part of KWEV or not at this time.  Scott Graff has created a Facebook fan page for the challenge where participants can share success stories, set up buddy systems, we will announce group events, and other valuable information designed to help you achieve your physical health goals in 2010.
