Sustainable Practices

At Keller Williams Realty East Valley, we are doing our best to be as environmentally conscious as possible and have implemented numerous sustainable practices into our operations such as going completely paperless.  We are also in the process of expanding our space while doing a retrofit of our existing facility.  In addition do having an energy audit done to identify ways to save money on our bottom line by integrating energy saving technologies into our facility, we are also using many recycled products which are visually appealing as well as cost effective.

Some of the products include Low VOC Paint (a non-toxic form of paint), recycled carpets, bamboo flooring in certain areas, EcoTop Counters which are a 50/50 blend of post consumer recycled paper and bamboo mixed with a water based resin, giving a modern look of slate or granite for a fraction of the cost.

There is often a misconception that “going green” costs more money while in fact, the practices that we are implementing actually save money both in the short term and the long run while at the same time creating less of a footprint on our environment.  This is the ultimate win-win both for our environment and the bottom line profits for our company.  We also intend for our practices to serve as an example in the business community for other companies to follow.
